The staff at Taylor & Hammel LLC are
expert at researching the historical
record to identify other potentially
responsible parties (PRPs) that may have
contributed to the contamination at a
given site or sites.

Under CERCLA, the Environmental
Protection Agency (EPA) is given the
power to seek out those parties
responsible for any past and present
hazardous release and assure their
cooperation in the cleanup.

Unfortunately, with its limited resources and research capabilities, the EPA often
mistakenly assigns one or two "deep pocket" corporations the majority of the
cleanup costs without regard to their actual responsibility for the contamination.

As such, one of the services Taylor & Hammel LLC provides is identifying all
commercial, industrial or governmental organizations or activities that may have
also contributed to the problem.  We also work with our clients to determine the
viability of unidentified PRPs and assist them in presenting the collected evidence
to the involved environmental agencies.
